Hi. Can satrai 1.3 upgrade to 1.8? How much total cost? How much cost for jpj? Which workshop can do?Please sent me detail at email.

The last time I checked, JPJ only allow 30% increase of engine capacity from the original engine. Which mean 1.3 can only go up to 1.6 the max “officially”

But, there are also ppl who still manage to upgrade from 1.3 to 1.8 :) but dunno with $ milo, teh tarik, #$#$%% or what .. :)

don’t forget that the chassis of 1.3 might not be stiff enough for 1.8 because the chassis of 1.3, 1.5 and 1.8 also have different amount of welding points on them.

Sorry bro, location wise .. check with any members at your local proton car club or Google :)

    I suppose u have a few options :

    1) turbocharged your existing 1.8 engine

    2) swap to a 4G63T (Mitsubishi Evo III 2.0 Turbo) and give it a 1.5 bar of turbo boost

you wanna hit 300km/h ? hmmm never done that though, we normally concern about the 0-100km/h sprint :)
Satria GTI is awesome to mod :)
